This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones MinecraftPixelArt.com uses, and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your device. It lets the site recognise your browser on a later visit or across pages. Similar technologies — local storage, session storage and web beacons — do comparable jobs and are covered by this policy too.
Cookies set by the website you are visiting are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by another domain, such as an advertising network, are third-party cookies.
2. Categories we use
Strictly necessary
These make the Site work and cannot be switched off in our systems. They handle things like remembering your cookie consent choice and maintaining security. They store no personally identifying information beyond what is required for that purpose.
Preferences
The Site may use your browser's local storage to remember small settings, such as your preferred PNG export quality or which tools you last used in the editor. This information stays on your device and is not sent to us. Clearing your browser storage removes it.
Analytics
These help us understand how visitors use the Site — which pages are popular, where people get stuck, and whether a change made things better or worse. The data is aggregated and used to improve the Site. If you decline these, we simply have less information about how the Site is performing.
Advertising
The Site is free and funded by advertising. Our advertising partners, including Google AdSense, set cookies to select which ads to show, to limit how often you see the same ad, and to measure whether an ad campaign worked. Where personalised advertising is used, these cookies may build a profile of your interests based on your browsing across many websites.
3. Third parties that may set cookies
- Google AdSense / Google Ad Manager — ad selection, frequency capping and measurement. Governed by the Google privacy and terms for partner sites.
- Google Analytics — aggregate usage statistics.
- Google Fonts — web font delivery. Fonts are requested from Google's servers when a page loads.
We do not control third-party cookies. Please refer to each provider's own policy for the detail of what they collect and how long they keep it.
4. How to control cookies
Where legally required, we present a consent banner on your first visit and you can change your choice at any time. Independently of that, you can control cookies through your browser:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
- Safari: Settings → Safari → Block All Cookies / Prevent Cross-Site Tracking
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
You can also opt out of personalised advertising specifically at Google Ads Settings, aboutads.info or Your Online Choices.
5. What happens if you block cookies
The core tool will still work. Image conversion and editing run entirely in your browser and do not depend on cookies at all. Blocking advertising cookies generally means you see less relevant ads rather than no ads. Blocking all storage may mean the Site forgets your preferences between visits.
6. Changes
We may update this policy as our use of cookies changes. The date at the top of this page shows the most recent revision.
