MinecraftPixelArt.com respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. This page explains how to notify us of claimed copyright infringement.
1. Submitting a notice of infringement
If you believe material published on this Site infringes your copyright, send a written notice to support@minecraftpixelart.com with "DMCA Notice" in the subject line. To be effective under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. If multiple works are covered by a single notice, a representative list of those works.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it — a direct URL is ideal.
- Your contact information: name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
2. What we do with a valid notice
On receiving a complete and valid notice we will review it promptly, remove or disable access to the material we control if the claim appears well-founded, and make a reasonable effort to notify whoever posted it. We keep a record of notices received.
3. Counter-notice
If you believe your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, postal address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the district in which you reside (or, if outside the United States, any district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.
We may restore the material within ten to fourteen business days of receiving a valid counter-notice unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed an action seeking a court order.
4. Misrepresentation
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages including costs and legal fees. Please consider carefully, and seek legal advice if unsure, before submitting either a notice or a counter-notice.
5. Repeat infringers
We will, in appropriate circumstances, restrict or block access for users who are repeat infringers.
6. Trademark concerns
For trademark rather than copyright concerns, email the same address with "Trademark Notice" in the subject line, describing the mark, its registration details, and the specific use you object to.
7. Minecraft assets
Block names and texture references on this Site relate to Minecraft, a game owned by Mojang Studios and Microsoft. We use them to identify in-game blocks so the converter can function. We are not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft — see our Disclaimer. Rights holders with concerns about this use are welcome to contact us directly.
